Mini Nonoy

A few blogs ago, I wrote about how Gabie & Max used identical outfits! Hello! The same thing happened to my dad & I. It was our usual Sunday lunch in Urdaneta. I walked into the house and saw my dad seating there with the same outfit as me! We were both wearing a white top & seersucker white & navy stripe bottom. What another strange coincidence. Definitely one I had to share with you guys. hehehe!

Biking with pure joy!

Gabie, the nanny & I went to SM the other day just to buy a few essentials & to look around. My mom decided to meet us there since she came from a lunch. As we were walking down the aisle, the nanny spotted a kiddie bike! It was bright & sunny yellow. (ew!) She quickly pointed it out to Gabie. Gabie immediately squealed w/ glee! So the nanny placed her in the seat. Gabie was super, super excited! Unfortunately I didn't have my videocam or my camera to capture the moment. It was really priceless. Gabie caused quite a commotion.Around a dozen salespeople were around her in awe with her excitement! (This isn't an exaggeration!)And so many people kept looking at her. She was really loud & screaming with happiness. She kept pounding on the handlebars. To make the long story short, my mom couldn't help but purchase the bike for her ecstatic granddaughter! Surprisingly, Gabie was such a kiss ass to my mom & dad the rest of the afternoon. It seemed like she knew her grandparents purchased the bike for her. She kept holding their hand & kissing them (Her kiss is actually just putting her cheek by your face). My mom & dad were both tickled pink!

These pictures were taken the following day. Take note - Gabie just woke up here. This is the first thing she wanted to do! (Over drinking milk! That is definitely a first!) hehehe! Amazingly, she just turned 6 months & she is already riding a bike!!! It blows my mind.

Beep beep!

Gabie is again in her bike later that day! The catch is dengue is really bad these days! So Gabie has to just bike inside the house. I don't want to risk her getting dengue outside. So go Gabie... go ahead and scratch my beautiful narra planks! hahaha!

Ducks in a row

I love rubber duckies! My bathroom is literally littered with them. Gabie seems to enjoy them a lot too!

Mini Max

Several Sundays ago, Gabie's nanny dressed her up in a white tank w/ navy blue piping & khaki corduroy shorts. At the same time, Max was in our dressing room getting ready. By sheer coincidence, they used the same outfit!!! She is really a mini MAX!

I took this stolen picture when Max & Gabie were both fast asleep in our bed! Of course, both didn't leave me any space to lie in. Hmmm... Anyway, check out how alike these two look especially when they are asleep.

Gabie's Baptism

Gabie's baptism was held last May 27, 2006 in Santuario de San Antonio. She was almost 3 months old! Boy, she didn't enjoy it at all! She cried most of the time during the baptism. And anyone who has met her knows what a little screamer she is! I think she might end up being a singer with the lungs she has. The priest raced thru the baptism! I guess because Gabie was wailing & wailing. Hehehe! Cutie pie Gabie was exhausted after her big day.

Posing with Lolo, Lola & Abuelita! Missing in action was Abuelito who is in China on urgent business.

Here we are with the Ninongs, Ninangs, Maxine & Martin! Special thanks to Ninang Claire. She flew in all the way from Guam! We missed Ninang Ingrid who couldn't make it. Tita Marga proxied for her instead!

Here is Gabie spacing out & wondering what on earth is happening! Daddy Max sweating already from holding her.

Gabie is beet red! She is finally getting blessed! Thank god she is now a Catholic. Phew!

Max & I just hanging out with Ninang Vi & Tito Sonny.

Finally relaxing & chilling with some of our good friends in the reception area which was held in the Urdaneta clubhouse! Tons of yummy food that was catered by La Comida.

Check out the fantastic decor setup by my super fabo friends Ninong Ron & Tita Charmaine! They were a BIG, BIG help! They setup the whole place in under 2 hours! Complete w/ swags & balloons allover the place. Ron even had a video presentation of Gabie!! We were super touched!!! Charmaine hooked me up with her awesome tarpauline supplier! We love you guys!!! Mwah!
The giant baby blocks Charmaine provided to complete the stage area! Thank god for her Tita Gina & her styro artists!

Oh, check the flowers for the table! Fabulous!!! Thanks to the floral artist - Rico! I thought of the look & he excuted it flawlessly. Rico is the soon to be bro-in-law of Ron. Just text Charmaine or I if you need his services.

We gave away super yummy choco balls from Batangas! Ninang Vi & Tito Sonny gave it as part of their gift. Trust me when I say, these Tsokolate Eh balls are out of this world! So yummy! When Vi first gave them to me, I kept drinking a cup every afternoon! Even at the height of summer. Talk about a sure way of gaining weight.

The best part for Gabie was opening her mountain of presents the following day! Gabie was all smiles. She kept cooing & laughing. My kikay daughter got more excited when she saw all her beautiful, new outfits! Thanks to all who shared this wonderful moment with us.
